Sparse domination and Calderón-Zygmund decomposition for general measures
Venue: José Manuel Conde Alonso - Aula Buzano (DISMA Politecnico di Torino)
We discuss sparse domination and Lp-boundedness of dyadic operators, like Haar shifts, with respect to measures more general than the Lebesgue measure. Boundedness is known to require a weak regularity condition on the measure, that we will show to be sufficient to recover a twisted form of sparse domination as well. Our methods critically use a modification of the classical Calderón-Zygmund decomposition which is valid for general measures, and that we shall also discuss.
